The MoU was signed by His Excellency Abdullah Abdulalee Al Humaidan, Director General of Zayed Authority for People of Determination, and His Excellency Saeed Jaber Al Kuwaiti, CEO of Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, in the presence of several officials from both sides.
The memorandum outlines cooperation in providing periodic medical examinations, specialized assessment and rehabilitation services delivered by qualified medical teams, as well as training healthcare professionals on best practices for working with People of Determination and exchanging expertise in healthcare and rehabilitation.
The MoU also includes several qualitative initiatives, including assigning a rehabilitation physician to visit the Authority regularly, conducting field visits to assess enrolled students, and exploring the opening of a branch of Bee Café operated by People of Determination—within the facilities of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, with the aim of enhancing workplace inclusion and enabling economic empowerment.
In return, Zayed Authority for People of Determination will provide Sheikh Khalifa Medical City with products from its 3D-printing workshops free of charge for one month, in addition to supporting the production of uniforms for medical staff through its sewing workshops—reflecting a spirit of integration and partnership and embodying the principle of “Empowerment Through Work.”
