Zayed Authority for People of Determination Launches “Our Summer is More Beautiful” Campaign in Partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi

Documenting the Most Inspiring Human Experiences Across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra


Zayed Authority for People of Determination, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and in collaboration with several government departments and institutions across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has launched the community media campaign “Our Summer is More Beautiful”. The campaign aims to document the most memorable experiences and human stories of People of Determination and their families during the summer, by highlighting real-life stories that reflect quality of life and showcase the inclusive facilities, services and experiences available across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, enabling everyone to enjoy a wide range of destinations and activities.

The campaign will take place across different areas of the Emirate under three main themes: “Our Summer is More Beautiful in Abu Dhabi”, “Our Summer is More Beautiful in Al Ain”, and “Our Summer is More Beautiful in Al Dhafra”. As part of the campaign, teams will accompany a number of families to document their favorites days and experiences in places that hold their most cherished memories. This reflects their connection with the community while highlighting the tourism, entertainment, cultural and sporting opportunities available to People of Determination across the Emirate’s cities and regions.

The campaign focuses on sharing authentic human stories as they are genuinely experienced by the people themselves, moving away from staged scenes to present a realistic picture of a community that places people at the heart of development and believes that quality of life is measured by everyone’s ability to participate and create memories without barriers.

The campaign also highlights the everyday experiences of families from diverse nationalities and with different disabilities across parks, beaches, museums, cultural and entertainment destinations, markets and community facilities. These stories showcase the level of inclusivity and accessibility that characterizes the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

H.E. Abdullah Abdul-Ali Al-Humaidan, Director General of Zayed Authority for People of Determination, said that the “Our Summer is More Beautiful” campaign reflects the Emirate’s vision of placing quality of life and people at the forefront of its priorities. It also represents the outcome of collaboration among government entities to provide inclusive environments and facilities that empower People of Determination and their families to enjoy every aspect of life with independence and dignity.

He said: “Through this campaign, we are not seeking merely to document places, but to capture the memories created by People of Determination and their families across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. We aim to highlight real stories that demonstrate that true inclusion is measured by everyone’s ability to enjoy life, create their own beautiful moments, and participate fully in society.”

He added that the campaign represents an open invitation to the community to discover the wide range of opportunities available across the Emirate for People of Determination, while highlighting the human side of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. This further strengthens the Emirate’s position as a global model for quality of life and social inclusion.

Zayed Authority for People of Determination also invited families of People of Determination to participate in the campaign by sharing their stories and summer experiences. A selection of inspiring experiences will be chosen and produced as part of a series of media materials to be published across various digital and media platforms throughout the summer season.

The “Our Summer is More Beautiful” campaign forms part of the efforts of Zayed Authority for People of Determination and its strategic partners to raise community awareness of the values of inclusion, while showcasing the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, across its cities and regions, as a leading destination for quality of life and an inclusive environment for People of Determination. It is a place where everyone celebrates human diversity and creates beautiful memories together.
