Zayed Authority for People of Determination is participating in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Championship, currently being held at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, by showcasing products made by its affiliates
Zayed Authority for People of Determination is participating in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Championship, currently being held at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, by showcasing products made by its affiliates. This participation reflects the UAE’s efforts to empower People of Determination and enhance their inclusion in society and the labour market.
Jassim Mohammed Al Ali, Rehabilitation Coach at Zayed Authority for People of Determination, stated that the project represents an integrated production platform that contributes to empowering People of Determination and integrating them into society and the labour market by engaging them in various productive workshops, including tailoring, shemagh production, chocolate making, printing, and other workshops operating within specialized production lines.
He noted that the project functions as an internal company under the umbrella of the Authority, relying on the operation of productive workshops in cooperation with entities and companies that have contracts and partnerships with the project, including hotels and various institutions. This contributes to providing real and sustainable production and employment opportunities for People of Determination.
He explained that the project currently includes around seven students of determination working in different fields, including tailoring, within a work environment that simulates real production lines. He emphasized that nothing is impossible for People of Determination, and that all products are fully produced by the hands of People of Determination and to a high standard of quality.
He added that the core message of the project is to highlight the capabilities and productive potential of People of Determination, affirming that they are active members of society who can give and produce. He also pointed out that several of the project’s affiliates work full-time across different production lines.
Al Ali indicated that “Bee” represents the brand dedicated to products made by People of Determination, and receives key support within the Authority’s ecosystem, with a focus on offering products capable of reaching global markets, not only local ones.
Jassim Al Ali also noted that the “Bee” project has participated in several major events and exhibitions across the UAE, including Expo Dubai, the World Governments Summit, hunting and equestrian exhibitions, Make it in the Emirates, and various community events, where products made by People of Determination are displayed, marketed, and introduced to the public.
Several People of Determination participating in the project expressed their happiness with the diverse products they create and sell to various entities and companies across the UAE, affirming that these products showcase their talents and creativity, while highlighting their unique abilities and active inclusion in society.
